According to a recent ZCT statement, concerns have been raised about some accommodations bypassing regulations by not contracting with locally based tour operators. The Law No. 6 of 2009, Article 19 (a) clearly states that a tourist hotel or guest house cannot operate as a tour operator or travel agent without the ZCT’s consent.
